According to Dr. Commander Selvam (Swamiji Sri. Selvam Siddhar) there are three kinds of thoughts. The first is positive, the second is negative and the third is neutral. If the planets like Sun, Venus and Jupiter are well placed in one’s horoscope or astrological chart, that person will be only with positive thoughts. If the planets like Mars, Raaghu, and Saturn are powerful in one’s horoscope or astrological chart the concerned person will have only negative thoughts. If the planets Moon, Mercury and Kethu are well placed in one’s horoscope that person’s thoughts will be neutral. By performing the rituals mentioned in Atharva Veda one can easily master the mind. There are some Yaksha/Yakshini Devathas. By performing rituals as per the instructions given by Swamiji Siddhar along with the help of learned pundits one can easily come across the problems. The psychological problems are worse than the physiological problems. The physiology problems will result only in physical disability but the psychological problems will result in social disability. One can survive with the physical disability but none can survive with the social disability.

Dr. Commander Selvam (Swamiji Sri. Selvam Siddhar) explains in detail about two Rudra forms of Lord Shiva and two wonderful Yakshini Devathas to cure the psychological problems. The first is Yoga Rudra, the second is Virinchi Rudra.

Yoga Rudra. Once upon a time, the world was covered with darkness. The saint and sages called all the Rishis and studied the position and reason for the darkness. The community of demons was increasing and the light to the earth was decreasing. All the Rishis with Saint, ‘Pragadharana’ started the yagna (sacred Fire) and prayed the Lord Shiva for the rescue of universe. Lord Shiva appeared before the yagna and put a part of him in the sacred fire. A kid called ‘Yoga Rudhra’ came from the yagna. He was very beautiful with a garland of pearl. With the benediction of this God, the mankind and devotees were able to get the light and heat to the world. Where there is darkness, the need of a Lamp is essential that Lamp is “Lord Shiva”. As he removed the darkness and saved the entire universe he will clear off all the darkness from the minds of his devotees. The psychological problems cause darkness in the human minds. Virinchi Rudra: We can observe an excellent view in the form of Virinchi Rudhra Moorthy. Lord Shiva is seen here just like Lord Brahma. The word “Virinchi” has a close connection to the task of creation. Lord Brahma, the creator of human beings and other lives on earth. He is the authority for knowledge and wisdom. The sensitivity to all beings and plants is bestowed by Lord Brahma. Whole creations of stars earth and worlds are being the conducts of ‘Trimoorthy’. Three great Lords in unity take care of the functioning. So the joint establishments are exposed every where in several types of idols. Here Lord Shiva is dressed with silk and has the ‘Rudhraksha’ and a small pot with holy water. He appears like Lord Brahma. His benevolent presence is with full of knowledge and wisdom. Atharva Veda Yakshini Bramacharini :-Brahmacharini is another form of Durga Matha. Here Brahma means penance. So, Brahmacharini is one who practices penance. The form of Brahmacharini is tremendously effulgent and extremely majestic. She holds a rosary in her right hand and Kamandalu in her left. In her previous birth, when she was incarnated as the daughter of Himalaya, then influenced by the instructions of Narada, she practiced terrible penances in order to obtain Lord Shiva as her divine consort. Due to her unearthly penances she was termed as Brahmacharini. She spent one thousand years, only on eating fruits and beetroots. One hundred years she spent only by eating leafy vegetables. For a sufficient period of time observing complete fast she suffered tormenting of nature like torrential rains and scorching sun and biting cold, under the open sky. After such a difficult routine she lived only on dry Bilva leaves, those have fallen on the ground for three thousand years. She kept her engrossed for twenty-four hours in worshipping Lord Shiva. After that she gave up eating even these dry leaves. For several thousand years she went on without any food and water. Because she gave up eating dry Bilva leaves so she was known to be Aparna as one of her epithets. After the rigorous penance for several thousand years her body became extremely lean and thin. She was reduced to skeleton only. Watching her pitiable condition mother Mena was very much pained. In order to divert her attention from the rigorous penance she exclaimed - 'U' 'Ma' meaning 'O! No, no, not'. Since then Goddess Brahmacharini was named Uma. This happened in her previous incarnation itself. Her penance, sharpened as it was, caused great disturbance in all the three worlds. The whole universe was shaken. The gods, the Rishis, the Siddhas, and the Munis all eulogized her penance as an unprecedented virtuous action. Ultimately Pitamaha Brahma through an oracle addressed her and said to her in a very pleasant manner, “O Goddess, so far nobody has ever practiced such an austere penance. Only you could have done it. This wonderful deed is being praised in all four quarters. Your desire would be fulfilled. You will decidedly get Lord Shiva as your divine consort. Now stop doing penance and go home. Your father would be shortly coming to take you back”. As she got married to Lord Shiva through her great penance, she made her mind very strong. As such she makes the mind of her followers as strong as hers. She is capable of providing unending benefits. By worshipping her, the person inculcates doing penance, renouncing, dispassion, ethical conduct and restraint in himself. Even in the most critical periods of struggle the mind remains unshaken and he does not deviate from the path of duty. The next Yakshini Devatha is Chandrakanta. Chandrakanta gives extreme peace and provides good strength to the mind. She refreshes the mind and removes all sorts of negative thoughts. By removing the negative thoughts the mind becomes clear and the psychological problems are solved. .Dr. Commander Selvam (Swamiji Sri.Selvam Siddhar) after a long time of penance and research of Atharva Veda found out he powers of this wonderful Atharva Veda Yakshini devathas. She has a half moon in her forehead in the shape of a bell. The hue of her body is golden bright. She has ten arms. In her ten hands, she holds weapons like sword etc., and missiles like arrow etc. Her vehicle is the lion. She is always in a gesture as if prepared for fighting. Her roaring voice is like a tumultuous sound of a bell that always causes the atrocious Danava, Daitya and Rakshasas all to tremble. By the grace of mother Chandrakanta the devotee smells the divine fragrance and many types of divine sounds become audible. And in this stage of discipline the striver is required to be most careful. By the grace of Mother Chandrakanta all the sins of the striver are burnt up and obstacles removed. Her worship is instantly fruitful. She is always in a gesture as if ready to proceed for the battlefield and thus she removes the psychological difficulties of devotees very promptly. Her vehicle is lion and so her worshipper becomes valorous and fearless like a lion. She makes the devotees’ mind steadier and stronger. Her devotee becomes very strong not only by mind but by physique also. As soon as the striver invokes her, her bell immediately becomes active and starts ringing to protect the devotee under her shelter. Even though she keeps her always busy in killing and suppressing the wicked, yet to her devotees and worshippers she looks most serene, gentle and peaceful. A very good quality that is developed in her devotees, who worship her, is the striver cultivates bravery and fearlessness accompanied by serenity and humility. The devotees’ face, eyes and the entire body get effulgent. The devotees’ voice becomes divinely sweet. Wherever the devotees worship mother Chandrakanta, they disperse peace and blessings among the people. From the body of such a striver there always takes place an invisible radiation of divinely lighted atoms. The divine action is beyond the perceiving capacity of physical eyes but the strivers themselves and their associates go on experiencing this fact every now and then. By purifying the mind, words, deeds and body through prescribed manner by Dr. Commander Selvam (Swamiji Sri.Selvam Siddhar) one should worship the mother Chandrakanta and take shelter under her feet. Through worshipping her one can get rid of all psychological problems, and attain the supreme goal spontaneously.

As the mantras and rituals of the aforesaid deities are very secret it should be learnt only from a Swamiji/Siddhar.
